Anyone have any idea what this animal is? I saw him in a park in St. Louis, Missouri, and I’ve been wondering ever since. And since his home sort of complements my new blog colors, I figured it was high time to feature him here. :-D
Hay, I’m atationed in FT Leonard Wood MO- The same critters are in my yard- it’s a large ground hog- according to a MO native- He said Ground hogs on MO get pretty big- hope this helps
Woodchuck is my guess. Do you have any other pictures of it? Sort of a tricky angle on this one, for identification.
ReplyDeleteJust one other photo... but not a particularly good one :|
ReplyDeleteHowever, in the link above, you can see a bit of a claw… not sure if that helps.
Looks like a muskrat to me. My parents have a pond on their property, and we get a lot of ‘em. :-)
ReplyDeleteCrystal is right, It’s look like a Muskarat,
ReplyDeleteStill if you can see it’s also look like as wild mice too.
